It’s official – we just launched our new exciting project we dreamed about for quite some time – cooking classes/demonstrations for students from the outskirts of Sofia, hosted by favourite Multi Kulti chefs – refugees and migrants. Our aim is to create a friendly informal space where pupils and foreigners can meet, get to know each other, learn more about the foreign countries, learn how to cook and try delicious authentic dishes while building a community free from prejudice, discrimination and xenophobia.

Our first event was held on 14 March 2016 in Amuse Bouche cooking school with more than 25 pupils from 74 school in Sofia and their teacher Ivan Gospodinov (a teacher from Teach for Bulgaria Foundation). Our lovely hosts were Saif ur Rehman and his wife Radoslava from the Pakistani restaurant Punjabi Food.

The initiative is organized with the financial support of the Czech Foundation Via as part of the ViabilityNet program for young community leaders from Central and Eastern Europe. Our deputy chairperson Bistra Ivanova participates in it.
